This is the last issue of H&HN’s Most Wired Magazine, our information technology quarterly. In January, Most Wired debuts as a monthly feature section in Hospitals & Health Networks.
Since 2002, this magazine has provided case studies, exclusive Most Wired Survey data and feature stories focused on core technology issues, all written for the entire management team, not just the hospital’s technology gurus. This approach remains unique among health care publications, and we’ll continue it in our ongoing coverage of Most Wired in H&HN.
Moving Most Wired into H&HN gives this important content a broader reach. Most Wired Magazine circulated to 30,000 H&HN subscribers. In January, all 70,000 subscribers will benefit from our case studies and features. The move also gives Most Wired a more regular print outlet, enabling monthly rather than quarterly coverage.
The editors are proud of our coverage of the challenges the nation’s top tech hospitals have faced—as well as the progress they’ve made—in addressing clinical and managerial issues using IT. One thing is certain: There are further challenges ahead. You’ll find the same thoughtful exploration of these issues every month in H&HN.
Here’s a special thanks to you, our readers, the leaders of hospitals around the nation. The editorial and management teams at Health Forum appreciate your dedication to all of our magazines: H&HN, Trustee, Materials Management in Health Care and Health Facilities Management. We continue to provide hospital executives with the richest bookshelf of health care management publications.
Thanks also to our advertisers and sponsors for their support of this magazine and their continued support of Most Wired as we move to H&HN. And finally, thanks to the writers and editors who have been part of this magazine and who will continue to apply their talents to both the Most Wired Survey and Most Wired content in H&HN.
See you in H&HN in January!
